The Time Has Come

The time has come for me to set up a blog dedicated to my status as Author and poet

Sitting in the vineyards of Southern Cyprus is where I gain inspiration and peace. The tranquil environment and relaxed lifestyle has given me the chance to dedicate my time to my love of writing.

My first book of poetry was written in secret and my 50th birthday party was the moment I shared it with the world, it became a book signing event.

Lack of self confidence had made me wait before I shared my work with the world. The response was amazing and I found courage to declare I would write a second book of poetry and so Sticky Sandwiches is under way. Some of the collection can be seen on another of my blogs:

I am also writing a novel, this is a new area for me, I am a short story writer and poet, but I woke one morning with a new project forming in my mind. One hour later I had bought a new journal, grabbed my Grandfather's pen and took off for the hills.
After several hours of scribbling notes it became obvious this was not a short story, it has now taken over my second book, my home and my life. I sit at sunrise with a coffee and each day a character has taken on a life.
