Frustrating Day

What a frustrating day! I was up at the crack of dawn, full of good intentions. A good breakfast and a coffee in hand. A cool room and neat desk were the perfect environment. A new chapter idea was just bursting at the seams to be written down.

Kitty was going to rent a shop and take her friends along for the viewing. This was going to open up the rest of my chapters and get them linking into each other.
Sadly, I just couldn't find the words. Oh, the idea is there, the picture is in my mind, but the words would not flow!

I have the design of the shop in mind, the little private rooms upstairs are all decorated, I can see the before and after images. The meeting with the landlord, the friends comments, they are all there, but they are not coming out.

I have been for a walk, screamed and sat fingers poised at the keys. I have picked up the pen and pad, sat in the garden, in the lounge and even in the bathroom but not a word would come out.

I think it is because my brain is rushing ahead of me, the ideas are arriving, bang, bang, bang.
I need to get a new method of planning. I Googled to find some help and noted that some authors use cards, some use planners, I will have to play around with a few and see what happens.
