From SHARKBYTES:
Glynis’ status in the community, at least among the women, was well established after one glance at her well-appointed kitchen fireplace. Her bricks were as blackened as theirs, her tasks as onerous, and yet what luxury! The hearth was raised, nearly eliminating the backbreaking leaning over the fire. Not one, but two ovens were built in alongside the fire box. Each was fitted with a cast iron door, decorated with raised motifs of ropes, wheat, and medallions. A brass key was fitted to the upper oven. High on the right a warming shelf provided warm, dry storage. Glynis, not unaware of the good fortune which had so recently visited her, displayed her copper kettle, that precious gift from Susan, in the niche. The kettle gleamed, a constant reflection of the love that had so recently spread across her young life.
From SPINNINGLOVELYDAYS:
It was a lovely afternoon, with the air bearing just the merest hint of nip and the sun not so severe. The calm waters of the pond reflected the blue sky and the surrounding foliage. Two ladies stood at the edge of it on the stone path. They donned fashionable garments, one of them in a shade of prussian blue and the other in lovely lilac. They turned their heads toward the water seemingly watching a fascinating scene. At first glance their stance appeared friendly, conversational , but the rigid set of their backs transcended good posture and suggested the presence of tension."
From A MOM'S CHOICE!:
The sun room was decorated with blue striped accents displayed throughout the room. Everything is in it's proper place waiting for company to have an evening get together for tea time. Open windows with striped ruffle valance to receive the heat of the morning. Ecru distressed shelf with pegs decorated with a sprig of green ivy. "
From LOUIE JEROME
The sight of her scurrying across the field like a frightened rabbit, her bustle bouncing up and down like a bobtail, brought a sadness to his heart that was almost palpable. Yet,in a strangely exciting way it made him want to give chase. He had never intended to overstep the mark and take advantage of her innocence. The weather had changed and the sage green hilltops were turning purple and black in the fading light. There was a thunder storm coming, but it would never be as severe as the angry clouds that waited for him back at the farmhouse.
I love what I have received so far, I hope you will rise to the challenge.
