Good morning mind. Morning? Yes it is and I am ready to work.
I am getting ready to layout my manuscript. Good for you. Thanks.
Easy job? Not if you have never done it before.
Searched the Internet? Yes and there is so much information that differs, I am mind boggled.
Read up about it? Yes and again I give the same answer as before.
Need Help? Yes please, how do you do yours please? Me? I don't write, you do remember?
You must know something that will help me!
Well, err...Look in your comments box later, you will bound to find some answers there.
Okay, thanks. I wonder what Genre my book fits?
Sorry? Pardon? I thought you were writing an Historical Romance.
Yes, I am but it has a mystery twist to it, so I am not sure where to put it.
I suggest you put it ...Oh just look in the comments box. I just know someone will answer you.

Historical romantic mystery? Historical romantic suspense? I think you'd just want to blend it like that in your query for an agent or editor. Just knowing the different sub-genres can help you target the right publisher/editor.
Good luck, Glynis!

Mystery Writing is Murder
Hey mind, you were right!
Thanks Elizabeth for helping me out.
Glynis, historical romance mystery is it's own genre according to Amazon so I'm sure there are editors and agents for this genre.
Good luck friend!! :)
Oh mind, Carol has helped me now. Thanks Carol, Glynis appreciates it!
I wish I had answers for you. I guess I'd have to agree with Elizabeth and Carol: Historical Romance Mystery.
Usually agent/publisher web sites give detailed instructions on how they want a manuscript formatted - and they all seem to differ. My advice is to check out the web page for each place you plan to submit to and follow their instructions. Good luck!
Thanks Susan and Jane, mind is relaxing now ;0
