When A Video Makes You Want the Book: Daughter of Mine

Daughter Of Mine by Laura Fabiani

The flow of the video and the sexy musical voice made me want it. The descriptive words on the screen made me want it. The cover made me want it. I just had to buy it, so I did. It is on its way to Cyprus. Now that is good marketing, as I am not, I repeat, not an impulse buyer.

A great lesson for all writers on how to sell your book to readers who know nothing about you or the book.

I can see why you had to have the book. The video brings so many questions to mind you want the book to find the answers.

Wow, I don't know what I like the more, the music or the storyline. I know the book sounds right up my alley. Something romantic and mysterious about secrets.

Incredible! How can you not want to read the book after watching, listening to that video. It's beautiful, mysterious, intriguing. What an awesome marketing tool.

Helen, I agree. This one certainly jumped out at me.

Mason, I think it is a great video, yes I had to have it to find out more.

Lauren, I love the music so much, I found out about it and added it in a post on my other blog. I get to hear it x 2. LOL

Ann, didn't the author or her marketing team, do a great job? I am most impressed!
Well, so I impressed I bought the product...LOL

Thanks for visiting folks.

Usually the book is better than the movie. Executive Power, The Right Stuff, Angels and Demons. The books were way better than the movie. Sometimes though the movies are great too.

Hi Stephen, this is not a movie but an advert for the book. Isn't that the great part? You thought it was a movie!

Thanks for visiting today.

I want to buy the book too! By the way, I love your new blog make over.

Glynis, thank you so much for showcasing my book and trailer! The hours of work I put into it are paying off and I appreciate readers like you who let others know. The Italian singer Mango has been my favorite since I first discovered him 22 years ago. His music has always made me nostalgic for my parents' homeland, and it was perfect for the trailer because it created the mood for Italy, the prominent setting in my novel. Once again, thanks for your support and for your regular visits to my blog. Happy reading!

Hi Laura, thanks for visiting. I am so glad your book is picking up readers more and more. The video and music sure sells it, as you see by the comments.
Thank you for showing me (us), how to market a book in a tasteful manner.
The music makes me go weak at the knees, I love it.
