Meet The Important Ones!

Meet The Important Ones!

The Wild Marquis by Miranda Neville

Several months ago I posted that I had won this book. Now the summer months are here, I look for easy reading around the pool. The back of this male has been calling to me for sometime, it is a sexy cover. The cover would sell to me alone. I am not a big reader of sexy novels, but sexy looking covers look good on the bedside table.

Yesterday was the ideal day for me to take to the sunlounger and find out more about the owner of the back and his lifestyle.
I have a hunch that my male followers would pick it up for two differing yet prominent reasons to mine.

The first book in the Burgundy Club series featuring Regency rare book collectors

The story is about a young widow Julianna and The Marquis of Chase. She runs her husband's rare book shop. The Marquis has been thrown out of the family home and sleeps his way around the women of society. Both have a mystery in their lives. The couple are brought together because of her skills and knowledge at book auctions. Julianna's character is of an independant, clever woman, with a hint of sexy.
His character is strong throughout the book. He has a romantic side and gets what he wants.

This was a great easy read for a summer's afternoon by the pool.

Her new book is due out in September...another sexy back and front...

Hello folks. I am doing a fair bit of reading. Another one read today so will review soon.
I love easy reading in the summer and heavier reads for the winter. A little light hearted fun for the spring, and a good mystery in autumn/fall.
I am a seasonal reader, I read through every season there is...LOL

Take care and thanks for visiting.

Sounds like you are having a grand time around the pool. Does the reading make you feel like writing? It usually does for me.

Romance books have some of the greatest covers! They usually will just yell at you from the shelf and you have no choice but to pick the up and read.

I've never put nerdy and Regency in the same thought bubble before, but this does sound like a lot of fun.
I got through 4 books this holiday - I love lying around in the sun ;)

Thanks Talli, with limited computer time because of dead laptop, I am reading more.

Anne, yes the more I read the more my mind grabs ideas and twists them. I have to grab the pad and write.

Helen, I think this one yells "take me, take me" LOL

Elaine, it is great when we get reading time to read a pile of books. Enjoy yours!

Smutty Stephen? Gosh you made me blush the colour of my blog! LOL

Loree, I am having a great summer, I hope Malta is too.

Jane it is a sensual cover and decorative, I agree.

Erin, enjoy it. Sometimes I get bogged down with heavy research etc, that it is lovely to read and relax with a book. When I do I like to share :)

Thank you my friends for taking time out for me today.

I haven't read a book like this ages, but I need to. I am a huge fan of Virginia Henley, but I just can't sit still long enough to read through an entire book. I like the historical novels, you know the ones. A lord has many conquests and then one women changes his whole outlook. I think I'm secretly hoping I will be ravaged by some knight or something. lol
