Meet The Important Ones!

BIG news!!!

I am going to be a Grandmother, a Nanny, a whatever you want to call it.

In September, my daughter Nicola and her husband Dale are going to have our first grandchild.

I am going to be a YiaYia, this is the Greek name for nanna, and the one I will use.

nor looked into your heart-

That is SO SO exciting! For you and for them!!!

Grandchildren are SO awesome. I LOVE my seven!! I was 48 when I had my first and wanted to be called something besides Grandma. I thought it sounded so old! I thought my daughter agreed to come up with something "cool." But no. I was Granny Ann. But I soon LOVED the name, and still do!!

You are going to have so much fun being a grandmother. You'll just love spoiling the little tyke. Hooray for all of you!!!

Thank you all. So thrilled. It has been a struggle for them. They lost their first, four years ago. The road has been bumpy, but they got there!

Ooh, ooh, how very wonderful. I have a "pretend" grandchild - someone whom I've known since they popped out 14 years ago. It is a very special relationship - this grandparent thing. Enjoy!

Thanks, Alberta. I love surprises, I'll pop over soon!

Deniz, I am not a knitter. I leave that to my mum. I am cross stitching something for the nursery.

Thanks for dropping by everyone! ♥

Congratulations :) It was the happiest day of my life when my daughter presented me with my Muffin -- and the second happiest is when he called me Noni for the first time.

There's nothing like it. I'm so happy for you :)
