Meet The Important Ones!

Meet The Important Ones!

I Tagged....

Len over at Conversations with Self tagged me. I have answered the questions to the best of my ability and have chosen my five victims. I decided to change things slightly for the tagged bloggers and made it the Inspiration Tag.

Do you think you're hot?

I don't think, I know I am. It is 108f/40+c on our porch at the moment!

Upload a picture of wallpaper you are using at the moment.

I captured this scene in a village called Lania. I just think it has a romance about it. A bit of Romeo and Juliet in Cyprus.

When was the last time you ate chicken?
Sunday. Cooked on the BBQ.  Finger lickin' good!

The songs you listened to recently?

Norah Jones for a bit of soothing for the soul. I needed to get inside my POV and find a few of her emotions. I often use music to trigger them.

A bit of Van Morrison to keep me on track.

What were you thinking as you were doing this?
I hope the power stays on!

Do you have nicknames?
 Yes

My dad used to call me Nena. Sadly I never hear it now because  Alzheimer's has taken his ability to communicate.

Some people call me Nissi which I quite like.

Tag five bloggers and state the reason why:

Talli Roland I tag you. Talli is an inspiration to me. She is my AlphaBeta♥Reader/Mentor and I would still be floundering around wondering if my ms is readable if it wasn't for her.

Ann Best I tag you. How can you not be inspired by Ann? A 71 year old caring for a disabled daughter, writes and blogs. Her memoir was one of the bravest stories to share. I admire Ann 100%.

Stephen Tremp I tag you. Stephen has worked so hard on publishing and promoting his book. He is an inspiration to the self-published author. He works hard and deserves recognition.

Carmen I tag you. Carmen has had a rough couple of years since retiring from a forensic nursing post. She writes lovely poetry using every emotion. Her dogged determination to not let life get her down inspires me.

Hilary Melton-Butcher I tag you. Hilary has a mind full of fascinating facts and shares them on one of the most interesting blogs I have come across. If you want to be inspired for a novel, learn a little more about the UK or unusual/little known facts pop over and say hello to Hilary and her mum.

Hi Glynis .. that's amazing - thank you .. I just love the mix of bloggers we have out there - finding everyone's friends and learning so much ...

That Lania picture is just wonderful .. as I haven't got a wallpaper! I might just beg, borrow and steal it ..

I shall have to rain check this for the moment .. and get my head into gear .. !!

I hope the electrics stay on .. and life can be as relatively as normal as possible .. what a devastating accident to happen to the island.

Enjoy the weekend and thank you so much .. cheers Hilary

Glynis: Thank you for thinking of me. I love you! I count you as one of my dearest blogger friends. And as for Hilary who cares for her aged and ill mother: she's an inspiration to me too. Stephen and Talli are also wonderful writers. Carmen I don't know, so I'll head over to meet her.

I think I'm as HOT as you are, too. Heat index yesterday was over 100 and it's going to be bad again today. I'm climbing the walls of our small duplex.

I love the name Nissi. You should have used that one and then I wouldn't be used to Glynis. You're a Glynis to me.

May your power stay on all weekend!

Glynis,
What fun to learn more about you. Cool tunes!

My mother had Alzheimer's the last 5 years of her life. I know what you're going through.

108 degrees - yikes! I don't like it very hot or very cold.

I love your wall picture.

Ann, you are a special lady with a special place in my heart! I ♥ you too! No worries I will always be Glynis. :)

William, so true. She is a talented young woman.

Theresa, it is OK if you can keep cool.

Kathi, it is a cruel disease isn't it. I often feel it would be better for him to suffer cancer, at least he would be able to communicate. A sad thought to have though.

Thank you all for taking time out for me.x
