If I Could Be Anyone, I'd Be...Celebrating The Launch of Watching Willow Watts by Talli Roland - The Movie

Today I congratulate author Talli Roland upon the launch of her second novel. I have had the privelage of reading through edits of this novel and love everything about it. Talli has offered something different in
Watching Willow Watts.

About Watching Willow Watts
For Willow Watts, life has settled into a predictably dull routine: days behind the counter at her father's antique shop and nights watching TV, as the pension-aged residents of Britain's Ugliest Village bed down for yet another early night. But everything changes when a YouTube video of Willow's epically embarrassing Marilyn Monroe impersonation gets millions of hits after a viewer spots Marilyn's ghostly image in a frame.

Instantly, Willow's town is overrun with fans flocking to see the 'new Marilyn'. Egged on by the villagers -- whose shops and businesses are cashing in -- Willow embraces her new identity, dying her hair platinum and ramming herself full of cakes to achieve Marilyn's legendary curves.

But when a former flame returns seeking the old Willow, Willow must decide: can she risk her stardom and her village's newfound fortune on love, or is being Marilyn her ticket to happiness?

It is a fun chick lit read. Antics, romance, deceit, friendships, mayhem and fame all roll out of one book! Purchase today and find out how Willow Watts becomes Marilyn Monroe!

It's in the post Talli x

To celebrate the launch, Talli decided to have a celebrity party. An If I Could Be Anyone, I'd Be...party.

I needed no costume for the actress I would love to be.

My outfit in the wardrobe was very much like she has worn in one of her movies. So I give to you...

video

The hand over the camera part was where DH was laughing so hard at watching my short little legs trying to get onto the table, that he forgot to turn the thing on!

Here is the real thing. Julie Walters in Mama Mia doing a great impersonation of me. I had to lose the specs in my version because I couldn't see the table and had a few near misses!
