Wishing you all a Happy 2014. I do hope wherever you are in the world, you are warm and safe. So many are experiencing extreme weather conditions, it is worrying.
We had a flood scare a month or so ago but the Christmas period was most pleasant. Crisp and even with no winds. The winds whipped across the other side of the British Isles, and many had the most miserable festive period on record. I feel for them, it must be heartbreaking. So much planning goes into Christmas, to lose all you worked for the celebrations, AND to lose your home belongings, (and in some cases the home itself) is horrid.
Several folk have ill-health, and I wish them nothing but comfort and recovery. Although I am leading a busier life, and my time is no longer my own, I am so very, very lucky. I am blessed with good family around me, and friends who support and guide me (or nag me as I have low self-esteem).
I leave you with my New Year's poem, inspired during a 'I can't do this - I'm not good enough' day. Clicking the picture will enlarge it for better viewing. Feel free to share or download if it helps you through a dark day.
